Have you ever imagined how to feel being in an engagement procession in a house of glass full of flowers? This time Eden Design makes the dream of Maria and Risal come true, that is to have their engagement procession in a glass house full of flowers. It is different from similar events which are usually held in a room. This time, however, the location is in the Breakfast Lounge, Pavilion JW Marriott, Surabaya. It is a semi-open room so that we feel like being in a glass house; therefore, we name the concept of our clients’ engagement “Modern Flower Garden”.
The attractive part is that this place is iconic with its glass house – a room where we can visually enjoy the garden view outside so that we really feel being in a garden. The design we create does not completely change the room concept of Pavilion JW Marriott. We take advantage of the beautiful circular ceiling as a roof decoration which simultaneously lets in very pretty silhouette light. The furniture design is a blend of brown and green which is in harmony with the room concept.
The entrance is quite different from what we used to design. Usually we put gazebo or big gate to welcome the guests. For this occasion, however, we only use two simple iron booths painted white that we decorate with intertwining plants and flowers growing there. The flowers are of soft-white gradated to peach colors. To beautify the flower booth, we put some candles on it. We also place a white-painted easel for the sign engagement of Maria and Risal.
